Position Overview

• Our client is a leading e-commerce company in the US seeking a skilled Full-stack Magento Development Lead
  to spearhead their platform enhancement and optimisation efforts, The role requires a deep technical
  understanding of Magento architecture, performance tuning and full-stack development to ensure a seamless
  and high-performance user experience

Essential Functions, Duties & Accountabilities

• Develop and integrate backend modules, ensuring business alignment and SDLC compliance. Create and
  update applications to meet security, functionality, and usability standards. Implement testing tools for
  performance monitoring and optimisation. Maintain deployment pipelines, version control, and production
  releases. Provide leadership through knowledge transfer, documentation, and mentoring. Collaborate with
  technical leads to strategise, architect, and implement solutions. Actively code, translate wireframes, optimise
  for responsiveness, and develop user-facing features. Ensure website maintenance, security updates, and
  enhancements. Stay informed on emerging technologies, uphold usability best practices, and maintain
  accountability for development deadlines.

Educational Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

Experience and Skills

1. 10+ Years of experience with PHP web applications and SDLC.
2. Experience with version control Git (Git flow development strategies).
3. Experience with MVC Frameworks (Magento, Zend, CodeIgniter, etc.).
4. Proficient with Linux command line, services, configuration, and scripting.
5. Proficient with Percona (MySQL) clustered databases, Redis, Elastic Search, and Varnish caching.
6. Proficient with JavaScript and JavaScript libraries (such as jQuery, Knockout.js).
7. Proficient with CSS and HTML.
8. Strong understanding of W3C web standards
