We are hiring for Snowflake SQL Developer – Advanced SQL & Native Features 

Location :- Chennai/ WFO

Experience :- 5+ years to 12 years

Mandatory skills:- SQL, Snowflake

 Time Zone: US Time Zone Overlap (3–4 hours daily) 

 

 Role Overview

 

We are looking for a Snowflake-first SQL Developer with deep expertise in advanced SQL and Snowflake-native features.

This role is responsible for building high-performance SQL logic, stored procedures, Streams, Tasks, and native Snowflake

automation, supporting analytics, data pipelines, and emerging AI use cases.

 

 Key Responsibilities 

 

 Advanced SQL Development

 

  • Design and optimize complex Snowflake SQL queries
  • Build reusable SQL logic aligned with business requirements
  • Ensure SQL code quality, documentation, and maintainability Snowflake Native Features

  Develop and maintain: 

 

  •   Stored Procedures
  •   User Defined Functions (UDFs)
  •   Streams (CDC)
  •   Tasks (Scheduled & Event-driven)
  •   Build SQL-driven automation directly within Snowflake

 SQL API & Integration Support 

 

  • Enable programmatic access using Snowflake SQL APIs
  • Collaborate with application and automation teams
  • Support service-based Snowflake integrations

 

 

 AI & Cortex Support

 

  • Assist with Snowflake Cortex / Analyst use cases
  • Support SQL-driven AI queries and exploratory analytics

 

 

 Performance & Cost Optimization 

 

  • Optimize warehouse usage and compute consumption
  • Tune SQL for performance at enterprise scale

 

 

 Required Skills 

 

  • Advanced Snowflake SQL
  • Hands-on experience with Streams, Tasks, Stored Procedures
  • Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture
  • Experience in enterprise data platforms

 

 

 Certifications (Preferred)

 

  • Snowflake SnowPro Core
  • Snowflake SnowPro Advanced (Developer / Architect)
